Sculpture Walk: Disrupt ~ Connect

From 26 June to 01 July 2025

Sculpture Walk: Disrupt ~ Connect

From 26 June to 01 July 2025

The theme for this edition of the Sculpture Walk this year is Disrupt ~ Connect

It aims to stimulate engaging dialogue around the power of sculpture. Guided walks led by curators and artists will explore the sculptural landscape, examining how these works interact with and transform their environment, creating both connections and disruptions in our perception of space and form.

The walk will include a dedicated hub space within the fair - a home to connect the works beyond the fair to the creators, their context within their timeline and their display spaces around the world. As in previous years the Sculpture Walk is open to contributors outside of the exhibitors, all works will be curated to match the high standards of this vetted fair.

The Sculpture Walk is organised under the direction of sculpture expert Flo Horswell of Harvey Horswell Ltd. The Curator of the walk, appointed for 2025 is Melissa L Gustin, Curator of British Art at the Walker Gallery, National Liverpool Musuems.

Exhibition: The Brilliant Bugattis

From 26 June to 01 July 2025

Exhibition: The Brilliant Bugattis

From 26 June to 01 July 2025

Rarely in history has a dynasty of artists exerted more fascination than the Bugattis. Through their considerable talent, fertile imaginations, technical virtuosity and pioneering flamboyance, four generations of creators have all produced completely unique bodies of work, with each making immense contributions to the world of art, design and automotives in their time. This summer, their oeuvre will be brought together in a landmark exhibition and special feature of the 2025 Treasure House Fair.

The Brilliant Bugattis will be the first exhibition on this virtuoso family in the UK since the pioneering show at the Royal College of Art, London in 1979. A treasure trove of 30 artworks, designs and cars, this non-selling exhibition will feature pieces by the family patriarch, Carlo (1856-1940) - a true Renaissance man who could design anything to perfection, from furniture to silverware; his sons - the genius animal sculptor Rembrandt (1884-1916) and the epoch-defining car engineer Ettore (1881-1946); and his grandson, Jean (1909-1939) whose car design significantly contributed to the fame of the Bugatti name today.

Find the exhibition at stand 225 within the Treasure House Fair.

VETTING AT THE TREASURE HOUSE FAIR

VETTING AT THE TREASURE HOUSE FAIR

Vetting is a sharing of knowledge, a collaboration between Vetting Committees and exhibitors. It is undertaken to give clarity and confidence to the visitor through the clear labelling of all works of art to confirm the exhibit as genuine and of the age it is stated to be; to confirm that research and due diligence has been carried out to include references to provenance; and to give reference to condition, restorations and alterations.

The Vetting Committee comprises specialists whose expertise has been gained through working in the art world whether as a dealer or gallerist, auctioneer, museum curator, academic, conservator or as an independent consultant. Not only are vetters present on vetting day, where they examine each work of art, but a wider pool of experts support through online virtual vetting.

Additionally, the Art Loss Register (www.artloss.com) check all exhibits at Treasure House Fair against their database of more than 700,000 items that are subject to a claim. The ALR is the world’s largest privately managed dataset of stolen, missing and looted works of art, antiques and collectables. Its database includes items reported as lost or stolen, subject to a dispute or loan, or with other issues. Any object found to be subject to a claim is removed from the Fair.

The opinion of the Treasure House Fair Vetting Committee is given to the best of their knowledge based on the information provided and no member of the Vetting Committee, nor Treasure House Fair Limited shall be liable for any direct or indirect loss. Images of works of art contained in publicity material, including the Treasure House Fair's website, or used on social media may not have been reviewed and are illustrative only.
