What does “vetting” mean at Treasure House Fair?
To give visitors confidence in the exhibited objects, each piece is independently vetted by an expert committee. The vetting process covers authenticity, provenance, condition, restoration and alterations. We aim to provide the visitor clarity and confidence through the clear labelling of all works or art.

In addition all works are checked against the Art Loss Register’s database of stolen or missing items with any object found to be subject to a claim being removed from the Fair.

While the vetting is rigorous, the Fair cannot assume liability for works and the opinion of the Vetting Committee is given to the best of their knowledge based on the information provided. Please still conduct your own due diligence when making a purchase.
