Hignell Gallery is exhibiting two artworks in this years Sculpture Walk. 'Girl with Knees up' by Sophie Ryder can be viewed on the Terrace and 'Awake' by Laura Ellen Bacon which can be viewed within the fair. Hignell Gallery was established in 2015 by sculpture specialist Abby Hignell in Shepherd Market, Mayfair. Since 2022 the exhibitions outgrew the gallery walls and Hignell's program now focuses on monumental, open air and site specific exhibits including Sophie Ryder at The Piece Hall, Helaine Blumenfeld OBE at Ely Cathedral and 'Renaturing Nature' featuring the work of Joana Vasconcelos and Peter Randall-Page RA in St James's Square. Recent gallery exhibition partnerships include Djanogly Art Gallery, Pilane Sculpture Park (Sweden), Het Depot (The Netherlands), Holland Park, the Venice Architectural Biennale (Italy), Huygens' Hofwijck Museum (The Hague), The Lightbox, Chelsea Barracks, and RHS Wisley. This year Hignell Gallery artist Laura Ellen Bacon is showing at Denver Art Museum, The Clark Institute and her solo exhibition ‘Into Being’ at Yorkshire Sculpture Park, which has enjoyed over 6000 visitors in it first three weeks, continues until 7th September. Hignell Gallery artist Helaine Blumenfeld is at Gainsborough’s House with her exhibition ‘Tree of Life’ throughout 2025. Hignell Gallery has placed sculptures in important private and public collections including The Sainsbury Centre, Hugo Burge Foundation, and The Phoebus Foundation.
