Founded in 1986, Portland Gallery specialises in modern and contemporary British art. The gallery holds up to 15 exhibitions a year of work by represented artists and estates. Significant recent solo exhibitions include major surveys of work by Mary Fedden, John Piper, Dennis Creffield, David Spiller and Edward Seago. The gallery maintains a close association with Scottish Colourist painting and represents the estate of F.C.B. Cadell.
