Willoughby Gerrish will again be curating the sculpture walk at The Treasure House Fair. This year’s theme is women artists of the 20th and 21st Centuries. Theme: Modern Female Sculptors From 26 June - 2 July 2024 The Treasure House Fair is delighted to present our annual sculpture walk on the theme of Modern Female Sculptors. There has been a long tradition of celebrated female sculptors in Britain - artist's such as Barbara Hepworth, Elisabeth Frink, Kim Lin, Rebecca Warren and Phyllida Barlow have acted as trailblazers - achieving status in a male dominated art world. The sculpture walk provides a platform and opportunity for visitors to view and celebrate a diverse group of women artists. The sculpture walk is curated by Willoughby Gerrish, owner of the eponymous art dealership and director of Thirsk Hall Sculpture Garden in North Yorkshire.
